A Change of Chair
|
It is with great sadness we announce that Steve Johnson (aka "The Weird One") has, due to personal reasons, officially stood down as Chairman for Fuyucon 2009.
All of us here on the committee have heavy hearts at seeing Steve go, as the work and dedication he had shown in Fuyucon 07 and the groundwork he's set for '09 have been invaluable to us. We wish our friend the best of luck with his future endeavours and look forward to his continuing contributions to the anime community as a whole.
As his replacement, we are happy to announce that Richard Powis (aka "Mallus Blackhand") will be stepping into the role of Chairman, and we hope you all will show us your continued support in this time of transition.
We would like to thank all our members for their continued patience during this time, and assure you we will always strive to bring you what we believe will be one of the most entertaining and memorable conventions in the UK.
